When Will You Be Mad
Oh you sacrificial lamb
When will you be mad ?
For too long you’ve being mild
Daily you’re sorrowful and sad
If only you could once be wild
Your venom will halt the ride.
When will you be mad willing horse?
The horse power in you is enslaved
To pull logs and carts for the butchers
Who daily ride on you like donkeys,
Sure you have been sad enough
But when will you be mad?
The fortitude of the willing cows
Flows their blood daily in abartior
But the hunter is not yet born
That can tether the tamer of forest;
Cobra is long enough to tie a bundle
Its fangs happen to be its reverence .
When will you be wild?
When will you be mad?
Daily they play you like card
And rock your head without any pad
Though young, your head is bald ;
Your fortune now a toy in their yard,
Answer me Nigeria, when will you be mad?
When will you be wild
When will you halt the ride?
When will you deliver your nation?
When will you stop this corruption?
You have prayed enough,
Bare your fangs now and bite the rough.
