When Will There be a Next Time

Sitting in the sun
Thinking of old times past
Alone in isolation
Will these memories be the last
Writing these few lines
Hoping to strike a nerve
Maybe to rekindle
The flame that once burned
The memories once so vivid
Are slowly starting to fade
As Time goes by with no reply
I start to feel betrayed
I feel like you're not listening
Like you never really cared
Was your entire plan for us
To cause misery and despair
The test of time has proven
What I should've known from the start
Although you had ALL my love
I never really had your heart
