When Will I Ever Learn

when will I ever learn,
procrastination is a disgrace
only leads to worry and concern
a job undone is thrown in my face

a class of 4 weeks
to cover what usually takes 9
a slower pace I might seek
or hold my head up, work hard, do fine

this is just my nerves
trying to slow me down
thinking 'bout that race car, how it handles curves
maybe I will go for a quick ride downtown

when will I ever learn,
procrastination is a disgrace
only leads to worry and concern
a job undone is thrown in my face
