When We Were Young
Little hands and twirling hair.
Many years since we were there.
Wide-eyed innocents us four.
Standing right before life’s door.
We made a pact that we would be.
Together for eternity.
But different roads our paths did take.
Promises we did forsake.
Now our lives are almost done.
A million miles since we were young.
But every time that we all meet.
The memories flow back so sweet.
