When We See a Woman
WHEN WE SEE A WOMAN
She is not just beautiful -
She immerses others in the stream of her beauty:
Our gaze is a request.
We seem to say to her, “We thirsty travelers
Beg for your glance, for your smile
Reflected in the pool of your eyes.”
And she, without the slightest effort
Grants our request.
We don’t just see her,
We receive and drink in her beauty.
