When we choose to believe

When we choose to believe

Come, find rest in the blood-stained cross of Christ,
Where the fullness of life’s love dwells.
Because no grave can hold you nailed down,
And no sin can send you to hell.
There’s a place for you; when you believe,
                                                                        All is possible.
In the blood-stained, crucified One,
                             Is where your heart belongs.
                                             It was for His glory,
                                                                        So that you may prevail.
He died so that you would live.
                                               And make His glory known.
For it was for your good,
                                                                        When He ascended on high;
He disarmed the powers of hell,
                            To reconcile His wayward children,
So they would come to understand,
You can always come back home.
Beloved, we endure so that we might enjoy
                            The fruits of eternal life,
And come to know that God is truly good to all.
                            Never having to think twice.
                                                                          When we choose to believe.
