When To Smile
Smile
Tug each corner of your mouth upward
feel your lips lift your cheeks
If necessary show teeth
hopefully they are straight and white
if not they will give others a dim light
Smile
Watch a bird prune it's wings
the colors paint him well as the feathers spill
Alerted from the north he jumps and sails
a sensation fills your heart as it runs to your head
making your mouth breath
Smile
You know he's watching you let loose your hair
when you slowly trail towards him
He's helping you take off your shirt by staring
a gasp is heard when the pants reveal hugging lace
your lips spread into seduction
Smile
When the screaming doesn't stop
and the prickles of uselessness compound
When the anger seeps enough that must be deepen
and your heart becomes tweaked
remember always to...
