I am just a droplet bubble in time,
unique selfdom and ego my life pride;
born of snow in Canada's wintertime,
in my soul snowflakes will always abide.
Writing poems is my Ego's pastime,
penning of confusion and illusion;
figments of my imagination flow,
fearing when my words will cease forever !
Have always had a connection with snow,
my ego writes of love for the forest;
when I cease- this is where my soul will go,
for the forest was a place I cherished.
I will be snowflakes that cascade and blow,
my ego will dwell as a delusion;
in summer I may be flowers that grow,
my thoughts may cease but my spirit never !
I am honored with the ego of "I",
often I am lost in contemplation;
for I have been blessed to let my thoughts fly,
accept that the end comes to creation.
It may be old age or the day I die,
but I will come in snowflake profusion,
remember me not with sad grief and woe;
see the I and me who will be ever !
