When the Two Cross Paths

Always saying "I" and "me,"
egotists make poor company.
Altruists have found the key, 
unlocking joy with "you" and "we."

When the two cross paths, we see
egotists reject harmony.
After all, they must feel free
to hog the scene while others flee!

A local politician, Mufi Hannemann, can not write a paragraph about ANY subject without using "I" at least a dozen times! Well caught and reported! Aloha!
