When the Time We Have Ends

We were wasting away the afternoon,
until the rise of the Moon.
We were entranced by the sea of stars,
  wondering why they are.
She asked, "Why do stars shine?",
but the words, I could not find.
If I could go back to that night,
I would say what is right.
Now when I see the stars, I think of you.
I would make a wish, but it won't come true.
  This fate is not fair.
  This feeling I must bare.
