When the Sun Goes Down

When the sun goes down Ice defines the name of winter Snow melts the hearts of children Florida hangs on to the country Attached at the bottom southeast Like an appendage without a foot Dolphins chirp like little birds Lightning and sharks strike, attack Alligators and crocodiles coexist "The only place on Earth" According to the news reports When the sun goes down in Maine Things get dark and cold and wet Florida is a long distance from winter The sun never sets in Miami It is not a case of smoke and mirrors Or even distance It is too darn hot for that
