When the Nightingale Sang

As the nightingale sang,
I lay in my bed
Listening to it's song
And as I drifted of to sleep
The music went on and on
I slowly went into a dream
as I listen to the soft music
And in my dream I stood
in front of my dear love,
He stood tall and very handsome
as we take the first steps
He looked into my eyes
Oh how I love this handsome man
He is my life.
He gently guided me round the floor
To the waltz we so enjoyed ,
And as I looked around the floor
It's emptiness was all ours ,
He guided with his smooth steps
Just like he has in life,
It was such a precious moment
My heart near stood still,
For the love of this man
For he is every thing to me
He's My heart, my soul .mate
and my husband Andy .
