When the Moon Weeps

When the moon weeps, the night writhes in pain.
The stars are in intense agony,
There's an overcast of the unknown,
The night watchers are filled with despair;
Potsherds of darkness fall upon us,
And songs of sorrow rise from our lips.
Strange voices echo in the meadow,
The elements bleed when the moon weeps.
