When the Moon Speaks

Horrible days and sad memories make up my teenage years

Weakness I cannot forgive myself for

Wishing, as I see others pass by in a foreign land that gave me no luck

I should have given up on life and people by now

but my heart won't let me as it speaks of fortune and love in the smallest of things

as it blesses me with comfort and peace in the most extreme of places and times

as it gives glows of happiness when there is loneliness

as it gives me strength when my legs are shaky

That feeling that everything will be okay when it doesn't seem so

An inner peace like the sound of waves that hid the most beautiful of lost treasures

Ô heart, be my guide and savior in this world...
