When the Mind Plays Tricks

Sometimes my mind goes completely blank,
And I cannot recall a name, place, or event,
It can be problematic, to be perfectly frank.

It surely has nothing to do with what I drank
Occasionally the brain seems to be absent
Sometimes my mind goes completely blank!

I find myself utilizing the old alphabet prank
One of those mnemonic devices to augment
It can be problematic, to be perfectly frank.

It can be quite embarrassing in my local bank
Not remembering a teller’s name to comment
I find myself utilizing the old alphabet prank.

Am I becoming, I wonder, a senile old crank?
Are my years overcoming me? Shall I relent?
It can be problematic, to be perfectly frank.

The last time it happened, my poor heart sank
Seems only I knew exactly what I had meant
Sometimes my mind goes completely blank
It can be problematic, to be perfectly frank!

I read an article the other day on how the 5g systems affect your neurological system, and the mitochondria in your cells creating what they call "Brain Fog" and loss of memory. Just a thought I share. Thanks for posting and we all experience this thought loss from time to time some of us more than others. Thanks for posting...
