When the Goblins Came To Town
Tears were flowing when the goblins came to town,
for delight do goblins take in making people cry.
They wreak havoc, bringing everybody down.
Goblins to each neighborhood assigned themselves.
They stirred up problems; people sobbed; They even made folks die
as clever goblins had enlisted help from evil elves.
Into people’s homes elves and goblins tried to creep.
Their purpose was to touch each tear that rolled down humans’ cheeks,
for jewels are made when goblins touch the tears that people weep.
Moans and wails resounded. All the folks’ worst fears
were coming true. Pain the worst produced the best of gems.
So goblins filled their jewel box robbing from the people sobbing tears!
