When the Aliens Come

When the storms come on clouds of alien invasions
Little green men in saucers with large sized heads
Entirely too heavy for their shoulders
Will probe things up and down and backwards
With not so much as a how do you do or visa
No proof of citizenship is just plain rude

Or are they small purple creatures with spots
Spidery legs in place of arms to mess us up

Aliens always arrive just in time for dinner
Without permission with their high beams on
To suck up cattle for their nefarious intentions
No knock on the door when they take you away
Just a bunch of wild creeps from outer space
Looking for fun and a bite to eat

Long trips make aliens hungry
Robots just stand around and beep
Don’t hold your breath waiting for apologies
You are never safe around saucer people
But you are on the menu this week

For years aliens studied cattle intelligence
Beamed them up with their wives and kids
Mistaking them for superior beings
Everyone knows cows are stupid
Sandwiches make better friends

When they run out of cows they will come
With hammers to soften us up
Nobody wants a tough person for lunch
They say we taste just like chicken
When the aliens come we will see
If humans taste as smart as they look
Or cook as long as they should
