Notes About The Poem

When Silence Speaks

Not a wisp of wind
disturbs the willows
along the path I walk,
the silence
and the stillness
speak to my hurt
and harried heart;
let hard lessons
learned
flow swiftly down
the soothing stream
to the sea,
evaporating into rain,
returning refreshed
to water virgin dreams.
