Notes About The Poem

When She Comes

she rises

a wave, a whim, a sun

she rises

every time born new

a beach, a gust of wind

and she rises

a storm of thoughts

the calmness

of stars

in the back

of the black sea

at night

she rises

as the hair

upon me

stands to

tingle

she rises

The form + message fit together like snow to winter. A fine write, Vernon. Your use of repetition is equally effective. Best wishes, Brian
