You break down and cry as you watch him go;
for you never thought he'd ever do so.
And you're still struggling to understand why;
as you watch him go, you break down and cry.
You feel your heart break the moment he leaves;
love's not enough when only one believes.
The joy in your heart morphs into an ache;
the moment he leaves, you feel your heart break.
Tears start to fall when he walks out the door;
saying he doesn't feel the same as before.
And because you're scared that he'll never call;
when he walks out the door, tears start to fall.
There is no hope when all you feel is pain;
afraid that you'll never see him again.
And you've no idea if you can cope,
when all you feel is pain; there is no hope.
