When Nothing Gray Matters

ain’t it strange the human brain ~ as an organ itself can feel no pain stab it slice it smash it to bits ~ will feel not a thing but spasm and fit yet brains process that nagging itch ~ formication to be filthy rich stroke of luck for pain unfelt ~ crawling sensation of poor bards wealth from tics and twitches to iou’s ~ this rhymester pays his monthly dues By David Kavanagh

A fine and a very interesting poem my friend. Human brain tells us we have two hearts, one in the flesh and one in the mind. Your poem stirs the mind. God bless...

Thank you Robert, some people think I have no heart at all let alone two lol, although you’re right the brain is geared toward duality, The enteric nervous system that regulates our gut is often called the body's ‘second brain’ there really is more to the human condition than meets the eye, cheers David

Amazing isn’t it Jan, the brain itself has no pain receptors, yet it’s the organ that processes all pain, makes perfect sense, hey I’m making a fortune out of my poetry, so my brain keeps telling me lol, cheers David

Really enjoyed this, David "Poetry On Trial" I’m going to indict poetry, for infecting my soul Does it serve any purpose, or totally out of control This may seem quiet strange, perhaps unorthodox Peruse this if you will, whilst it’s head layeth on the block

Who judges on judgement day? A non- human, gray matters! David, David, David wake up! There are no actual insects on or beneath your skin, but you feel as if there are. Interesting concept, I loved it!

Heya Anaya, no insects under my skin, but some bugs like to think they crawl upon it, perhaps I’m swatting off a few here, even the two legged ones! Thanks for stopping by, cheers David
