When My Voice Is Silent, I Write
When My Voice is Silent, Final
I write because I have thoughts, bottled up inside of me,
My mind wrestling with the yesterdays of my destiny!
What, when, where, why and how, are questions undefined,
Like optical illusions, with vivid colors and shapes divine.
When, opportunity affords me, the time to just be real.
I play the videos of my life and recite, “Peace please be still.”
In the early morn as the sun rises, and at the dawn of day,
I listen to music and dance about, as the chirping birds play.
This gives me inspiration and often times relaxes my mind,
But I must admit on occasion, a glass of red wine works fine.
