When Mary Sat On the Wings of the Bird

she saw and came to me
as night comes to seek the morning,
as when morning meets to go evening
just like that
Mary fell asleep in my chest

As my heart beat faster
She woke up
and left my side

Just as the dew shines in the sunlight
and then disappears
She gradually,
finally, momentary, she disappeared from my sight

And Mary still remains in my heart
her farewell remained on the back of my hand
at this moment,
on the broken branches
descending free like a sparrow.
