When Love Went Away

When Love went away evicting my empty enclave......, Bats scream silent echoes of a haunting voice. In an overcast sky, shooting stars disappear. Bees spin in whirls as wine gets strong. Snow footprints melt, weak imprints of memory. 17th February 2019 Maureen McGreavy's contest 5 line poetry contest
