When Love Is True
Partner has affair with someone
You are happy that he/she is happy
That's true love
Partner treats you badly
always gives anguish
you are nice loving and caring
not leaving still serving
That is true love
God loves us whatever we do
Whether we spoil his creation
Whether we are good or bad
He has given us brain and freedom to act
He has not created us like puppets
He is not converting us to one
That is true love
True love is eternal, unconditional,
believes in serving
In spreading happiness without any thoughts of self.
True love doesn't bind, it sets you free
At the apex of true love self merges with the lover becoming one
Self identity is lost
ego disappears
