When Love Died

When love died “we” died
You told me that you and I changed
You told me love had changed
But you and I did not change,
You and I walked away and “we” got lost
When you and I went in opposite direction
It tears “us” apart and “us” was left broken
And broken cannot be fixed
Broken cannot be glued back together
When you walked away “us” ceased to exist
Because there was no longer “we”.
Even though there was never “I” in “we” or in “us”
The only thing that kept us together
The one thing that made “u” and “I” to be us, was no more.
I saw it in your eyes as you turned and walked away
You forgot how I swept you off your feet.
I saw a blank emotion in you
Even though your soul was graceful
I was intrigued because “we” was broken
The one thing that made “u” and “I” to be us, was no more
When love died “we” died.
And so ends the chapter.

Your free verse poem is good! It's sad too, but the exploring of all aspects of I, you, we, is wonderfully done. Welcome to Poetry Soup. :)
