When Life Says Goodbye

The sound of wind.
The taste of rain.
The song bird still sings no matter what our pain.

The memories of laughter.
The tears of sorrow.
The fear of knowing that there is no tomorrow.

The feeling of sand between our toes.
The feeling of loving when love grows.
The adventure of being part of someone else.
The life we’re given, like ice it melts.

The time we breathe on this spinning ball.
The eyes have seen our dreams rise and fall.
The heart has beaten throughout all those years.
The mind has took hold of the hopes and fears.

The love that we find and the love we give.
The words that we talk and the silence we live.
The world has known our spirits and given us it’s time.
The universe accepts us when our souls break free and fly.
