When Life Falls Apart

On a hilltop far away
Stood a man who raised his voice
No one heard
And he raised his arms
And no one saw
No one heard what he had to say
Except his friends, they made the choice
To help, to answer his alarms
Others passed him by
And a tear rolled from his eye
He wanted to be loved by all
But even though he felt alone
The prayers and comfort of his friends
Strengthened him to find his way
They helped him gain new strength
Within his heart a soft new light
He thought his life had come apart
But love had lifted him to hope again
So he could make a brand new start
