When It Rains It Pours

Have you ever heard of the saying… When It Rains It Pours? Well that saying became real in my life a couple weeks ago. And it made me super depressed. Everything thing in my house seemed to breakdown( two things) I didn't have any money in my savings or on credit card. So it's extremely important to save up money for a rainy day because one never knows what emergency will happen. I learned that the hard. I strive to do better in the future. As you know we all learn lessons from life experiences. Well you may ask me what broke down? Let me tell you what it was………. My refrigerator and the plumbing in my bathroom, stopped working almost at the same time. Is the problem solved? I am working on it. Am I still depressed? No, although those things happened it could be much worse. My kids are healthy, I have a roof over my head, lights, gas, food, bed and a deep freezer( thank God for a deep freezer). 9-18-19 Alexis Y.

I like the positive tone of your ending, Alexis..your poem speaks to many who go through the daily headaches of things not going as planned.

That is so sad my friend but your attitude will get you through. Indeed it could have been much worse and your decision to count your blessings as opposed to counting a few things that went wrong just shows how strong you are. A few things will always go wrong, stop working, etc but many things will bring you joy. Nicely done Alexis.
