When It Comes
WHEN IT COMES
When it comes alive
Oh joy when it comes alive
That which was thought lost
Oh my God!
JOY!
There’s a skit and whirr outdoors
Inside all takes on a new coat of paint
Walls expand
Fall aside
The chest expands
Stature!
Excitement flows
This strange new music
With bold accent
This rhythmic music
Forces one to dance
Dance a gold circle with coronet
Oh joy when I heard it all again!
Oh joy when everything came alive!
All had been thought lost
When it came
Suddenly
As if from nowhere
That which was thought lost
At last to love again
To again BE!
Be ALIVE!
