When Innocence Grows

Once a little girl, now a woman grown.
The evidence of your maturity has made itself known.
Childish things must now be put away.
You've entered a new realm - a new game to play.

Learning to do chores to help your family out.
Listen to their wisdom when you are in doubt.
A completed education to form a better life.
Preparing yourself to overcome struggles and strife.

Some roads lie behind you - yet others lie ahead.
Don't think of what you're losing, think what you'll gain instead.
Take each day as it comes and know that you are blessed.
Your family stands beside you - to help you pass these tests!
