When I'M Dead and Gone

When I’m dead and gone

you’ll still be having fun.

Occasionally remembering

when we were under the sun.

When I’m dead and gone

tears will be shed.

Memories suddenly remembered

only to be overcome by dread.

When I’m dead and gone

my body will be under ground.

But my *heart* will still be here,

you just won’t hear it’s sound.

When my soul is out of this body,

hear me when I say

"I am still here”

"I didn’t go away”
