When I Write
when I write
i feel as if i can't stop
when I write
I sing my favorite song
I feel happy
I smile
look around
for awhile
I feel the breeze
bounce against my face
my hair waving to the trees
I think what a place
the clouds space out
the clear blue sky
catches my eye
i say to myself "WOW!"
when i write
I can hear and see the little parakeets chirp
jumping up and down
geacefully
beautiful their wings
flapping on top of leaves
the day seems short
the sun smiling down on me
sending off its energy
feels kind of happy
when I write
all of my feelings show
it's like an ocean of emotion
my life is my imagination
this is me when i write
