When I Was Drawn To Dawn

Slowly, a sliver of lemon meringue began coloring the horizon beyond my valley home. Drawn to dawn, I let myself succumb to the beauty of it all.

Andrea, 'When I was Drawn to Dawn' - love your dawn. The Grand Canyon's edge calls to the timid. Unlike this poem, let's hope they never succumb to its beauty. -Richard

This is a contest I thoroughly hate. I never participate. But to each his own and you are clever to chose an exquisite extract. Best for a win. Hugs.
