When I Was a Little Girl

I used my pretty blue eyes,
When I was a little girl,
To look at things,
That are down below,

Had my shiny,
Short blond hair,
When the light hit it,
It would glow,

My short dress,
That blows in the wind,

Sometimes I believe,
It gave a laugh,
To family and friends,

I like to consider myself,
Adorable and sweet,
At this time,
Then I grew up,

I created a great mind,
I'm still sort of cute,
Sometimes I feel blind,
Wish I could remember,

Just how it was,
When I was,
Just a little girl.....
