When I Was 12
When I was very young. Late one night all alone.
The street lights where dull. The sky was clear.
I watched in Awe as across the night sky was a sphere.
The moon to the left was quite bright.
The sphere silent and large to my right.
The night was cold I didn’t want to linger.
But time was lost. The sphere was gone.
Being out around 3am as a child.
Would have made my parents go wild.
I wonder whatever it was. Some day maybe I will know.
But I will always remember it unto my last breath.
And maybe I will see them again after my death?
