When I Lost My Lady
When I lost my lady
Heaven gained an angel
For the time she was here with me
Dear God I wanna thank you
No matter how short lived it was
The impact as of yet
Of being touched by an angel
Is truly one you don’t forget
And my only regret
Is not choosing you at times
For frivolous relationships
That didn't stand the test of time
Nor do they cross my mind
The way that you still do
16 years you been gone
Not a day spent not missing you
