When I Die

When I die.. Put sunflowers in my hair, dress me in white and lay me to rest. Put me on a raft and let me drift to a land unknown. Tell him I loved him.. with all my heart With every bone in my body With every breath I took … I loved him.. Tell him I’m in a better place with no pain & sorrow. Tell him I forgive him. And he can’t hurt me anymore. He was the best and worst thing that ever happened to me. When I die.. Put sunflowers in my hair, dress me in white and lay me to rest. Put me on a raft and let me drift at sea. But please don’t forget to tell him I loved him.

Though well written, this poem is sad and yet lovely. That same love you're deserving of.
