When I Die

It is hard not to wonder
What it would be like
When your heart stops
You can't take in needed air
Still your mind works
Knowing what is happening
Trying to understand events
But not being able to question
Just laying there dying
Finally, even your mind fades
And in that instant
When everything is gone
You simply cease to exist
