When I Can Feel the Sun
Sometimes, it’s hard to find a way
to keep on fighting
with all the windows of the world
no longer lighting
the road ahead in shadowed bend
and only spiting
any chance I seem to hold on happiness
Sometimes, It’s hard to really say
what I’ve been thinking
with all the chaos of the world
forever shrinking
determination with frustration
only sinking
any chance that I can hold on to my dreams
And then again, sometimes, I find myself
encouraged
when I can feel the sun and see the life
it’s nourished
it’s then, that I can once again
let flourish
every thought that what I need will come to me
