When I Awaken To Your Smile
Each time I awaken to your smile
My breath is simply taken away
I find my heart still desires you
In many wonderful beautiful ways
There have been many, many moments
After 41 years to remember and describe
But there are special ones that shaped us
Since God above first made you my bride
You have been my best friend and wife
A gift blessing I'll cherish always too
I know our lives will continue to blossom
As we grow stronger in our love its true
You are my most valuable treasure in life
Who brings the passion in my heart to grow
Know when I think of a pure genuine love
In life together I'm glad God made it so.
