When I Am Old
WHEN I AM OLD
When I am old, left no expectation.
Two wings as body and mind can't cope up,
attaining physical limitation.
Zealous mind still young energetic sharp.
In youth, ’When I am old’: Unthinkable.
Arrogance dynamism rushing restless.
Old age sure to come, inevitable,
static seniority to access.
Body needs support and help, when I am old.
Now afraid of sickness seeking favor.
Sense of self- jealousy, when youth was bold.
and flowers of success bloomed in flavor.
Now to seek solace to find a place worth,
just to fit myself at least not to brood
Cold days, colder nights, coldest mind wish warmth.
and to respond last bell in happy mood.
