When Hope Gives a Smile

Life in limbo is no place to be
You never know which way to turn
Separate all the good from the bad
And store all the lessons you’ve learned

Getting back on track is no easy task
Compile all the losses you’ve gained
No hope no light no luck on your side
No response from the Lord when you prayed

Your lost just got found your up is now down
Your confusion can drive you insane
You’ll more or less get it all off your chest
But you’re really not one to complain

And every once in awhile hope gives a smile
In the dark there’s a glimmer of light
Then the light shines in but when it grows dim
Is when your future begins to seem bright
