Blown like a leaf, in a fierce storm
Life whizzed by, each moment poignant
Dream images did rise and subside
All paled before the bliss current
It was the fall of year eighteen
I exercised my free will choice
Dropping ego fears and desires
Opting to heed conscience’s soft voice
No sooner I took the first step
Soma nectar flowed through my veins
A voice divine sang loud and clear
Love alone cleanses all soul stains
Poised thus in tranquil stillness slow
My attention internalised
Negating all that comes and goes
In good time, Gods light realised
Divine manifested as Shiva
Awestruck, looked at his lotus feet
He yet drew me into His heart
Love in love with love does so greet
Who be dweller of Shiva’s heart
This secret to me was revealed
Behold presence of Gods glory
Clear truth known, with nothing concealed
Time passed by, my heart now lighter
Gods light, soft white, glowed once again
Veils of delusion fell away
Direct wisdom, did thus ingrain
Love alone is, the true substance
All else are merely thought constructs
We are That but know not as yet
Until our ego self-destructs
