When Happy Left the Room
It was just another day when shouts and rants are all over
All you can do to your ears is give them some cover.
Then you open your eyes and all you can see are all just clutter,
With a mindless laugh you know that they will fill your little hamper.
You simply pick the soiled clothes and stare at the lace tied in that shoe,
Held it tightly in your bosom and sighed with sadness at how they grew,
Does it mean adieu?
To the memories you can no longer undo?
Was it really time to say goodbye to the little feet that marched through the door?
And tell yourself that there will now be silence on your old floor.
Then you picked up your dusty broom
And finally declare happy left the room.
