When Grass Dances

When grass dances In the singing winds To the syncopate melody Upon the tree of joyous lark; The envious rose flower Fresh lets its bright petals To the ground far beneath fall In protest to the conspiracy And wonder of awesome nature. When green grass dances To the purple singing birds Sinking into the waning sun So does too the wind sway Like the conductor of orchestra In such beauty behold All sorrow is far gone Ever with the wind Never again to come.
