When Good Men Die
When Good Men Die…
When good men die: - the earth stands still.
- tears of anguish flow.
- minds are hopelessly confused.
- broken hearts are a- plenty.
When good men die: - the sun refuses to shine.
- birds refuse to sing.
- rivers cease to flow.
- skies cry unceasingly.
When good men die: - wives are torn apart.
- children stand alone.
- friends lose their hope.
- families lose their stronghold.
When good men die: - we all must be strong.
- we all must have courage.
- we all should stand firm.
- we all should be at peace.
Because, when good men die, the mantle is passed on, to us!
End
