When God Says No
When doors are closed in our life
We can only wonder why.
We grieve, we try to understand,
But often, we question and sigh.
God has a reason…one day we’ll know why.
Only He can see the Master plan.
He sees the whole picture-from beginning to end.
He knows what’s best, just hold on to His hand.
As fathers and mothers withhold some things
From the children entrusted to their care,
Knowing that their wish is not best for them-
Though later, when they are older,
They may answer their prayer.
Our heavenly Father knows what is best for us.
So sometimes He must say no.
Down the road, He may say yes-
After we have time to grow.
