When Eyes Speak In Full Sentences

your touch
Ability to speak
or walk sucked up
into your mind
compartmentalized
As if your spirit
was packing up shop
and taking your memories
on a long vacation,
 telling your body
"Sorry hun, you
cannot go."
Locked inside
full conversations
where people
ask rudimentary
questions
and you reply mentally
"I do, I know, please
tell me what's been happening"
But they can't because
all they heard
 was your
   deafening silence
They search out
some semblance
of recognition
in your eyes,
but few know
how it feels to have
your mentality
without
  your faculties
 Body departed
 while mind
remains home
becoming an unwilling
participant in your own
prison experiment
trapped between words
and the inability to speak them
because you didn't recognize
that this could be your
final farewell
everyone
remained unaware
