When Elections Come Round the Corner

When elections come round the corner…………

When elections come round the corner, our politicians are awake up with their lies and with their dirty tricks also. Often their dream lost by a theft or beaten up. Never forget to show that they are from the master race. Their promises are always fly high during election period and at the end found nothing in return. All pointing and blaming, at each other’s throats to get high votes
Our poor helpless citizens for are few Rupees given by candidates before elections give there only Trump card to elect this scoundrel
Once they become Member of Parliament, they dole out public money paid by tax payers as of their own and also pocket some of it. The public forgets everything after elections and they so called elected go around the world for aid and loan with a begging bowl half of which they pocket it as commission and the loans keeps rising and the taxpayers keep on paying without any recourse. This is the sad plight of mother Lanka.
Mother Lanka which is shedding out tears looking at its plight, the isle which was called the Pearl of the Indian Ocean which is being handled over foreigners piece by piece. Even we know that “A rotten foundation will let nothing good grow and we still vote these scoundrels.”
I would like to recollect what Dr. Manmohan Singh former PM of India. Once said: “Politics is the last refuge of the Scoundrels"

Politicians are dirty.I never seen elections like the last few we had. I nevee seen so much hatred towards a president. Trump didnt run for president because he wanted to.When he got elected in 2016. He was asked to run for president. It was a military operation to weed out the corrupt out of the whitehouse. He busted everybody and the truth will soon come out. I threw my Trump card out there hoping things will get better.

Scoundrels indeed. It seems a common theme around the globe. I guess it is only a certain kind of liar that is attracted to politics.

Dr. Singh sure got THAT right, Ravi. I rarely dare to write about these corrupt evil people. I like how you incorporated teh "rotten foundation " into this.
